Practice recruitment specialists, Clark Wood ,are very pleased to be working with an established and modern firm of Chartered Accountants in Swansea who are looking to add an Accounts Senior to their personable and professional team.
As an Accounts Senior your role will be varied but will predominantly consist of providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a varied portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and some partnerships.
The workload will include the preparation and review of both statutory and management accounts as well as corporate tax compliance and you will also be involved in the provision of business advisory services to clients.
This role offers the successful individual an excellent level of responsibility and you will report directly to the Partner. You will also be being involved in the supervision of junior members of the team.
The ideal candidate may be ACCA / ACA Qualified, may be at the latter stages of the ACCA, or may be AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The role will predominantly involve preparing statutory accounts, management accounts and corporation tax computations and returns
You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines and work well within a team.
Experience of preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts in an accountancy practice using an accounting software package
Managing & supervising the work of more junior staff
Review accounts and act as point of reference to the team with regard to complex issues
Involvement with business advisory work
Skills:
AAT Qualified, ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
Experience of undertaking a varied practice role
Up to date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards
