On offer is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative renewable energy specialist where you will manage the lifecycle of prestigious energy storage projects and play an integral part in the success of the business.

This multifaceted organisation are seen as industry leaders within the UK Energy Storage market, specialising in the development, delivery and asset management of utility-scale BESS projects. They have the expertise and capability to deliver scalable projects efficiently and effectively, with plans to supply over 1GW of projects within the UK market. As a result, they now wish to grow their Project Management team to deliver the projects and facilitate future success.

In this role, the successful candidate will manage all aspects of utility-scale BESS projects from inception to asset management. This is a varied role that will involve leading and coordinating project teams and external stakeholders, monitoring budgets and project costs, leading client meetings and tracking progress of projects, amongst other responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing the delivery of HV infrastructure projects and experience working under the pressures of project finance schemes. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC) and a strong ability to deliver them.

The Role:

*Manage the construction of utility scale BESS projects (electrical focus)

*Establish, manage and coordinate project teams and external stakeholders

*Monitor project finance, costs and budgeting

*Analyse and report on project progress

*Attend and lead client meetings

*Place of work is predominantly on site or in the office (Kent / Central London)

The Person:

*Experienced construction manager with a background working on large electrical infrastructure projects

*HV electrical experience (BESS, solar farms, wind farms, substations, datacentres etc)

*Ability to read electrical drawings and ensure contractor are following electrical design

*Excellent knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC) and industry regulations

*Ability to work to deadlines and pressures of project finance schemes

*Excellent ability to problem-solve

*Adaptable and pro-active approach to work

*Flexibility to travel to sites across the UK
