Job description: Mortgage & Protection Advisor – Harborne, Birmingham

Basic – up to £35,000 (depending on experience) OTE – £70,000 +

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an multi-branch, established and successful Estate Agent in Birmingham, as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser. This will be a lead generated role, supported by a driven and focused team.

The potential is to earn in excess of £70,000 + per annum.

Job Description To achieve and exceed mortgage and protection sales targets, the role involves handling new enquiries, completing fact finds, providing advice and recommendation, and then securing the business. It is essential that you have an ability to work to targets and build excellent relations with the internal teams and your fellow Advisers.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual income targets

Support our sales and lettings teams facilitate efficient sales and acquisition for our clients.

Manage stable, ongoing enquiries maintaining relationships with clients in order to secure sales when clients are ready to proceed.

Complete Mortgage Fact Finds to identify client’s requirements and providing advice and recommendation in order to secure the business.

Liaising with other departments in the business to ensure a smooth application process for the client.

Continual development of sales skills and product knowledge

Continual Professional Development.

Ensure sales are conducted according to sales process and compliance requirements

Ability to complete paperwork/applications in a structured compliant manner

What you will need to do this role

Fully CeMAPP Qualified 1,2,3

Experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisors – minimum of 18 months writing business

Drive, ambition, and self-motivation.

Ability to work within a team

The ability to work in a targeted environment, be self-motivated and focused.

Provide excellent customer service

Ability to work in a regulated environment

Experience of Microsoft suite of products, Word, Excel etc.

Understanding of property market

Full UK Driving Licence
