Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team in the Renewables & Environment industry. As a Procurement Coordinator, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing vendors, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This role plays a fundamental part in contributing to our company’s success in sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors based on their pricing, quality, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate and finalize procurement contracts with selected vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier information.
  • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for reordering to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to optimize inventory management and minimize costs.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
  • Proactively communicate with vendors to resolve any delivery or quality issues that may arise.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Procurement Coordinator or similar role in the renewables or environmental industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices and principles.
  • Experience in sourcing and managing vendors.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
