Our Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS) teams are at the forefront of our technology engineering enterprise. We specialise in designing, manufacturing, and delivering cutting-edge products to our Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) worldwide. Our custom electrical and mechanical development projects are advancing the frontiers of innovation and automation.
Within the ASRS department, we have our Grid development teams. These teams are dedicated to creating innovative, reliable products that align with our clients’ and customers’ diverse needs.
Here’s what you could accomplish;
As a verification engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful development and launch of our Grid product range. Your responsibilities will include:
Fostering collaboration to define and plan test activities for Grid products and subsystems.
Validating supplier/design reliability claims by creating and implementing suitable test activities.
Identifying testing, hardware, and resource requirements necessary to verify design changes.
Ensuring the full execution of test plans within the agreed-upon schedule.
Managing and overseeing product testing while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure it stays on schedule.
Utilising accelerated life testing and stress screening techniques to uncover potential design weaknesses in new products.
Leading or assisting in identifying the root cause and contributing to solutions for issues discovered during testing.
Constructing electro-mechanical setups to facilitate design verification and reliability testing.
Our ideal candidate would have:
Demonstrated expertise in measuring and verifying critical mechanical characteristics, such as vibration, temperature, and fatigue.
A background in data collection, analysis, statistical evaluation, confidence level determination, and reporting.
Prior experience in developing product verification activities activities for electro-mechanical products.
Confidence in delivering technical presentations and analytical skills.
Experience in managing and collaborating with internal and external personnel involved in product testing activities.
What would set you apart?
Previous experience taking accountability for the verification of complex multivariate products or systems.
Familiarity with creating technical content to demonstrate a product’s compliance with standards or codes and the ability to understand and interpret regulations and codes.
Understanding of Six Sigma problem-solving methodology.
Developing experiments based on statistical techniques to support innovation projects.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL and Python.
